  1.      The screen shows a grid with every tenth line being a dashed$
  2. line. Across the top of the screen is an  option bar presenting  $
  3. the various menus and options. Here is a brief description of the$
  4. options:                                                         $
  5. $
  6.     FILE (F1) - this menu contains options related to file       $
  7.        controls i.e. loading files, saving file, changing        $
  8.        directories.                                              $
  9.     EDIT (F2) - this menu contains options related to editing the$
  10.       loaded image.                                              $
  11.     VIEW (F3) - This menu allows you to either view the image as $
  12.        in a graphical viewer, or view the symbols used in the    $
  13.        image and the currently assigned dmc color number and     $
  14.        name.$
  15.     DO CHART (F4) - This menus allows you to produce a chart of  $
  16.        either the entire image or a section of the image.        $
  17.     INFORMATION (F5) -This menu presents you with information    $
  18.      about the current image.                                $
  19.     LIBRARY (F6) - This menu allows you to create or edit library$
  20.     elements, and/or incorporate library elements into the   $
  21.     current image.                                           $
  22.     HELP (F7) - this menu presents you with the various help     $
  23.        topics available.                                         $
  24.     CURRENT SYMBOL (F8) - this menu allows you to change the     $
  25.        current symbol that will be used when adding new symbols  $
  26. $
  27.     Across the bottom of the screen, and on the right and side   $
  28. are 2 scroll bars. The marker indicates which section of the     $
  29. image is currently being seen.                                   $

  31.     If the entire height or width of the image is visible, then  $
  32. the corresponding scroll bar will be white, and will NOT respond $
  33. to the mouse.                                                    $
  34. $
  35.     When moving around the image, the edges of the image, and/or $
  36. the grid, are indicated by a thick black line.                   $
